04/18/2025 Intro to Glass Blowing, Friday from 5:30 to 8:00PM

Discover the art of glass blowing in this hands-on workshop! Shape molten glass into a beautifully unique ornament or aqua tubewhile exploring color techniques and design.   Perfect for beginners and enthusiasts alike.

We will walk you step by step through the process to craft beautiful glass treasures.

Each participant will receive 3 glass blanks to work with.  You probably will not walk away with 3 perfect pieces. Practice makes perfect and this is a beginners workshop.  You will choose any color combination for your creation and then you will flame, fire, and blow.  Ornament size varies between the size of a golf ball and racquetball depending upon maker. There is a 15–20-minute cooling wait period after blowing the glass for it to anneal and cool before packing. Only $65.00 for all 3 pieces.

We will have limited spots available for each time slot:

Each time slot will only accommodate 4 participants.

Due to the popularity and nature of this project, we are only allowing a limited number of participants for each session in studio for individual attention and safety.

Each person present in studio must be registered for a slot. Due to safety precautions, observers are NOT allowed in the glass blowing area.

***All Participants must be on time, agree to wear tight fitting sleeves (no dangle or flair sleeves) or short sleeves with no loose jewelry. Please do NOT wear open toed shoes or sandals. Long hair should be tied back. ***

Safety glasses must be worn, glasses will be provided.

Rescheduling/Cancellation Policy: We do not offer refunds. Guest Policy

Unless otherwise specified in the workshop description, unregistered guests are not permitted to attend any workshop, whether it is a public workshop or private party. Bringing an unregistered guest will result in the guest being asked to leave as this interferes with the attention and experience of our registered makers. Makers can inquire about purchasing a guest seat but the request will be subject to approval.

By completing registration you are agreeing to these terms.

Wood

If your project uses or is made of wood, this policy applies. This is a natural wood workshop, so your sign will have random cracks, chips, knots and other natural blemishes that give it character! Some peeling may occur. We will do our very best to minimize disturbances to the words and make everything look intentional, but due to the nature of the workshop we can make no guarantees. Please keep in mind, no sign is absolutely perfect, as it is hand crafted, but it will certainly be wall worthy!
